Naturopathy or Naturopathic Medicine is a system of primary health care which focuses on natural remedies combined with the body’s ability to maintain or heal itself.  The philosophy behind naturopathy is an holistic one that advocates minimal use of drugs or surgery.

A Naturopath is the person who applies the principles of Naturopathy, which can be summarised under the following principles:
 

• The Healing Power of Nature which refers to the ‘life force’ behind the self-healing mechanisms of the body.
• The Triad of Health which refers to the interaction between the structural, biochemical and mental/emotional components of living beings. Any disruption in one area will ultimately lead to disruption in another part of the triad.
• The Uniqueness of the Individual implies that each person is genetically, biochemically, structurally and emotionally different from another and will therefore respond in a unique way to mental/emotional, structural, nutritional, social or cultural influences.

When you become a member of The Summit, you are joining an elite team of conventional and complementary therapists. We only allow established complementary health practitioners to join The Summit as we wish to maintain our reputation as a centre of excellence.

At The Summit, we offer a mix of 13 air-conditioned rooms ranging from comfortable, relaxing consulting rooms to professionally equipped treatment rooms as well as a private gymnasium.

All rooms can be rented by the hour and unlike other therapy centres in London, we do not commit you to regular block bookings or long term commitments.

Since opening our doors in 2007, The Summit now hosts over 40 practitioners with an average of three joining us every month. No other therapy rooms in North London offers such a wide variety of disciplines and The Summit will, we are sure, prove to be the ideal location for your own practice.
