Psychiatrists, psychologists and psychotherapists are all professionally-trained individuals who help those that suffer from psychological problems. The primary difference between them is that while psychiatrists are medically qualified doctors, Psychologists are not medically-trained professionals; they are concerned primarily with the study of how people think, act, react and interact.
